Brag House, in partnership with The Denver Broncos, is hosting the Backyard Blitz tournament, chapter No.1 featuring Fortnite for Coloradan college students and alumni.

This Free to Participate tournament will take place online, so you can compete from the comfort of your home whether it be your dorms, fraternity house, sorority house, etc.!

Registration for Chapter No.1 of this tournament is on a first come, first served basis, with a total of up to 100 competitors who will participate in a Fortnite solo build mode that consists of five private matches where points are earned based on eliminations and placement.

Brag House will create private battle royale lobbies for the tournament matches, and only competitors with a private invitation will be allowed into the tournament matches (please see “Scoring Format” tab for more details on the leaderboard points system).

This tournament is the perfect opportunity for you to compete against rival Coloradan schools, showcase school pride, and earn some serious bragging rights!

The 10 competitors finishing at the top of the leaderboard at the end of Chapter No.1 will crowned the winners and they will win an invitation for a private celebration at the Broncos’ stadium (please see “Prizes” for more details).

All current Coloradan university, college and community college students and alumni, of public and private institutions, that appear on the school list dropdown in the registration form are eligible to compete in this tournament.

BACKYARD BLITZ Chapter #1 will take place online on:
Saturday, April 13, 2024 from 1-5 PM MST (3-7 PM EST)

THE Three (3) FINALISTS OF THE BACKYARD BLITZ CHAPTER #1 WILL WIN:

An invitation for a private celebration at the Broncos’ stadium where each of the winners will be allowed to invite guests to join them at their celebration (please see “Prizes” for more details).

The celebration at the Broncos’ stadium will include, but not limited to:

1. Trophy ceremony
2. Transportation to and from the celebration
3. Catering in a private suite
4. Gaming activation (possibly to play on the scoreboard)
5. VIP Tour of stadium including Field access (depending on season)
6. Appearances by alumni/current Broncos’ players (depending on availability)

Additional activations and prizes during the in-person celebration at the Broncos’ stadium may be announced closer to the date of the celebration.

Note: The 20-30 competitors finishing at the top of the leaderboard at the end of Chapter No.1 may qualify to a Grand Finale where they could win additional prizes.

Up to 100 student and alumni gamers from colleges in Colorado will compete in Fortnite’s Battle Royale – Solo Build mode across five matches.

The competitors will receive the codes from Brag House staff to access the lobbies of the matches across the tournament which will be private lobbies.
