The Brag Gators Gauntlet Series #BaseballEdition is coming to the University of Florida on Saturday, May 17, 2025, bringing the ultimate Fortnite Battle Royale showdown.
This isn’t just a tournament—it’s your chance to prove you’re the top Fortnite competitor at UF, battling through 4 heats and a final gauntlet to claim your share of a $1,500 prize pool.
With a baseball-themed scoring system, every elimination and placement feels like hitting a home run. Whether you’re a casual gamer or a vicious competitor, this is your moment to shine in front of the Gator Nation!
Brag House is thrilled to announce our strategic partnership with Florida Gators Athletics and Learfield’s Florida Gators Sports Properties, kicking off with this epic virtual event during the Gators’ baseball season.
Together, we’re building a new era of sports medium starting in Florida — blending the intensity of Fortnite with the pride of Gator sports. Compete, brag, and make history—join the Gauntlet and show the world what Gator gamers are made of!

All current students and alumni of University of Florida and University of Alabama are eligible to register for free and compete in this tournament.
Whether you’re still on campus, already off-campus for the summer or you’re an alumni, compete online from wherever you are!

SATURDAY, MAY 17, 2025:
- 4 qualifying heats (matches) from 12:00-3:00 PM EST (11:00-2:00 PM CST)
- 1 Final heat (match) from 3:00-4:00 PM EST (2:00-3:00 PM CST)
THE THREE FINALISTS OF THIS TOURNAMENT WILL WIN $1000 in SCHOLARSHIPS
- 1st Place: $1,000 scholarship
- 2nd Place: $300 scholarship
- 3rd Place: $200 scholarship
SPECTATORS OF THIS TOURNAMENT WILL WIN $500 in PRIZES

Up to 100 student and alumni gamers from University of Florida and alabama will compete in a Fortnite Battle Royale – Solo Zero Build mode in four separate heats (matches). The top 50% gamers with the most aggregated points across the four matches will advance to the fifth and final heat (match).
The competing gamers will receive the codes from Brag House staff to access the lobbies of the matches across the tournament which will be private lobbies.
SCORING FORMAT:
As always, your target is to get as many points as possible in each of the four heats (matches) In order to advance to the fifth and final heat (match), but how you earn these points is quite unique in this tournament as this is not your “typical” Fortnite scoring format tournament. This tournament is themed around college baseball so get ready!
(i) Earn 1 point for every opponent you strikeout (elimination).
(ii) Earn 1 extra point for each 3 consecutive strikeouts (eliminations) in a heat (match).
(iii) Earn 4 extra points by completing a Grand Slam (“Victory Royale”) in a heat (match).
(iv) Earn 15 extra points by completing a Home Run – finishing at the top 25 in each of the four heats (matches).
For the fifth and final heat (match), the point system of (i) through (iii) above will be applied.
