Tournament Structure
The tournament will start with a round robin style Group Stage for 16 groups. Each group stage will consist of up to 4 student gamers who will compete each other (i.e., 3 matches each) in single-legged 4 minute halves matches for a spot to represent their college in the Final Bracket.
The top student gamer from each group (16 student gamers in total) will advance from the group stages to the Final Bracket, which will consist of two-legged 4 minutes halves soccer matches.
The student gamer who aggregately scored more goals against their opponent in a round will advance to the next round. The Finals is the only round in the bracket that will be a single-legged match.
Overall structure, format and rules of the tournament will be based on the FIFA Official Rules (Available Here). Please note, any formatting, rules procedures and/or policies in The Fineprint or Official Rules and Procedures governs and overrides the FIFA Official Rules.
Team Selection
- During the bracket, you will not be allowed to switch soccer clubs from the first legged match to the second legged match in a specific round.
- For example, while you need to play with the same club in the two matches of round of 16, you can select a different club for the two Quarterfinal matches.
- In a scenario where two student gamers prefer to play with the same club in a specific match, they will be given the option to resolve this on their own and choose different clubs. IF the two student gamers cannot agree on alternative clubs, Brag House reserves the rights to select at random the student gamer who will choose their club first.
Overall structure, format and rules of the tournament will be based on the FIFA Official Rules (Available Here). Please note, any formatting, rules procedures and/or policies in The Fineprint or Official Rules and Procedures governs and overrides the FIFA Official Rules.

Scoring Format
During the group stage:
- If you won a match (i.e., positive goal difference), you will gain 3 points
- If you finish a match in a draw (i.e., zero goal difference), you will gain 1 point
- If you lost a match (i.e., negative goal difference), you will gain 0 points
- In the event the top student gamers at a particular group stage will have the same total amount of points (once all the matches of that group stage complete), the winner of the group stage, among those gamers with the highest points in the group, will be determined by the student gamer who won the head-to-dead between the two gamers at the top. If that match ended in a tie, the winner will be the student gamer who has a higher positive goal difference.
During the Final Bracket:
- From Round of 16 to the Semifinals, student gamers will engage in two-legged 4 minute halves matches.
- The winner who advances to the next round will be determined by the student gamer who scored more goals against their opponent aggregately across the two-legged matches.
- A first-legged match can end in a draw.
- A second-legged match can end in a draw If the first-legged match did not end in a draw.
- In an event of a draw in the second-legged match where the first-legged match also ended in a draw, the student gamers will be instructed to start a third match and play a single 3 minute half to determine the winner.
- In an event of a draw aggregately across the two-legged matches (for example, first match ended 2 – 1 and second match ended 1 – 2), the student gamers will be instructed to start a third match and play a single 3 minute half to determine the winner.
