Brag House, in sponsorship with Coca-Cola and McDonald’s, is hosting the Golden Royale Cup competition featuring Fortnite for college students in Washington, Oregon, Oklahoma, Kansas and Southern California.
This Free to Participate tournament will take place online, so you can compete from the comfort of your home whether it be your dorms, fraternity house, sorority house, etc.!
The tournament consists of four Qualifiers leading up to a Grand Finale, Each Qualifier accommodating up to 100 student gamers. Registration is on a first come, first served basis, with a total of 400 students participating in the Fortnite solo game mode.
Brag House will create private battle royale lobbies for the tournament matches. Only gamers with a private invitation will be allowed into the tournament matches (please see scoring format below for leaderboard points system).
Each Qualifier comprises five matches. Students accumulate points based on eliminations and placement, with the top 25 students advancing to the Grand Finale.
The Grand Finale will feature up to 100 participants competing across five matches – who all have the same objective – finishing in the top three and becoming a tournament champion!
This tournament is the perfect opportunity for you to compete against rival schools, showcase school pride, and earn some serious bragging rights! So while you enjoy eating McDonald’s with Coke like a champ, your opponents will be left eating your dust!
All the matches will be online and available on Brag House’s platform:
All current university, college and community college students, public and private, from Washington, Oregon, Oklahoma, Kansas and Southern California that appear on the registration form school dropdown list are eligible to compete in this tournament.

ONLINE QUALIFIERS:
Qualifier #1 – For students from Southern California: Saturday, November 4, 2023 from 6-10 PM PST
Qualifier #2 – For students from Washington: Sunday, November 5, 2023, from 6-10 PM PST
Qualifier #3 – For students from Kansas, Oklahoma and Oregon: Sunday, November 12, 2023, from 5-9 PM CST / 3-7pm PST
ONLINE GRAND FINALE:
Saturday, November 18, 2023, from 6-9 PM CST
THE THREE FINALISTS OF THE GRAND FINALE WILL WIN:
1st Place:
- 1st Place Golden Royale Cup Trophy
- $5,000 in Scholarship
2nd Place:
- 2nd Place Golden Royale Cup Trophy
- $3,000 in Scholarship
3rd Place:
- 3rd Place Golden Royale Cup Trophy
- $1,000 in Scholarship
THE THREE FINALISTS OF EACH OF THE FOUR QUALIFIERS WILL WIN:
1st Place: $150 gift card
2nd Place: $75 gift card
3rd Place: $25 gift card
(total of $1,000).
Note: the 3 student gamers with the highest amount of aggregated points across the 5 matches of the Grand Finale will be declared the champions of the tournament.

Up to 400 student gamers from colleges in participating regions will compete in Fortnite’s Battle Royale – Solo mode in four separate qualifiers up to 100 students per qualifier).
The competing students will receive the codes from Brag House staff to access the lobbies of the matches across the tournament which will be private lobbies.
Each Qualifier will consist of 5 matches: The top 25 student gamers with the most aggregated points across the five matches from each qualifier will advance to the Grand Finale.
